Anushka Sharma, born May 1, 1988, in Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, was the daughter of Kumar Sharma and Ashima Sharma. Her father is an officer in the colonel (retd.) The daughter of a housewife. Karnesh Sharma, Anushka's older brother, has served as an Merchant Navy officer and is currently a movie producer. Anushka has completed her studies at Army School Bangalore. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts from Mount Carmel College in Bangalore. Anushka is a graduate with a Master in Arts qualification in economics. Anushka has always wanted to be either journalist or model, and never an actor.
